Obsidian Mahogany is a special type of volcanic glass that gets its name from the almost wood-like appearance of its grain structure. The energetic bursts of colour mimic the fiery environment where it is forged and its glossy surface catches even the smallest amounts of light. Various traditions around the world have associated this very special stone with protection and personal strength for centuries.

Calibre JCB-003 is a brand new movement designed from the ground up specifically for the Automatique, with micro-rotor and hand winding, a zero-reset mechanism, and new styles of decoration. It was engineered to be able to drive additional complications in the future and was developed in partnership with Dubois Depraz.

In addition to the Brown Suede strap, a matching 18k rose gold bracelet is available to pair with this watch. Designed specifically to complement Biver watches, the bracelet’s faceted links extend the geometry of the Automatique case, with the same mix of brushed and polished finishes, too. It is crafted to the same high standards as our watches, with each solid gold bracelet containing over 300 individual components and requiring 60 hours to make.
